Organising a language week for October happened to be rather complicated but it was worth the effort. Chester turned out to be a really beautiful and pleasant town. Glenn and Justin, our teachers at “English in Chester”, our language school, did a great job. Even project work in the afternoons was endurable. Visits to Liverpool (The Docks, The Cavern Club, the Anglican cathedral) and to Manchester (“Old Trafford” was impressive even for people not really interested in football) rounded off our programme. |
